Job Description
Hours: Majority Monday Friday (with occasional weekends)
Salary: 21.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the food preparation planning and supervision of the team
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on the daytoday management of the kitchen and assist with the menu planning and design
- Ensure the brigade is trained in all aspects of the menu equipment and procedure as required
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the delivery of agreed sales GP margin
- Ensure the site is purchasing correctly in accordance with Company policies
- Waste management
- Overseeing stock control of all sections
Qualifications :
- Experience within contract catering and/or event production
- Health and Safety and Food Safety qualifications
- Passion for seasonal food and menu design
- Self motivated analytical and innovative
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead motivate and develop your team
