Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Communication Be able to clearly and effectively exchange information ideas facts and perspectives with the faculty advisor and any others working on the assigned project. Critical Thinking Be able to identify technical issues as applicable arising from project activities and come up with feasible approaches to addressing those issues. The ECE department is soliciting applications for a student assistant positions. Both graduate and undergraduate students will be considered. This position is to assist a faculty member and ECE lab engineer in conducting research and/or laboratory maintenance in electrical and cyber engineering. Max. 30 hours/week 8 weeks in May and June
Physical Demands
Some lifting work is required e.g. moving PC or small lab equipment from lab to lab.
Required Qualifications
The following qualifications are required: Willing to learn Good work ethics Be able to work under minimal supervision Good communication skills and good teamwork; handson experience in laboratory work with electronic devices and software tools a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
ECE students are preferred. More specific duties will be communicated by the supervising faculty/staff member.
