Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detailorientedElectronics Lab Technicianto join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling testing troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and devices. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components circuit design and laboratory best practices. The technician will also assist in product development prototyping and documentation to support engineering and research teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble test and troubleshoot electronic circuits PCBs and prototype devices.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and failure analysis on electronic components and systems.
  • Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes multimeters power supplies and signal generators.
  • Solder and desolder components including surface mount and throughhole components.
  • Support engineers in the design development and improvement of electronic systems.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Use a dynamometer for motor testing.
  • Document test results procedures and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and lab protocols.
  • Assist in inventory management of electronic components and lab supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Associates degree or technical certification in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in an electronics lab or related environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics datasheets and technical manuals.
  • Handson experience with electronic test equipment and soldering techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers embedded systems or programming is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PLC automation and ladder logic programming is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
