Job Description

Job Summary:

The Private Events Coordinator is responsible for executing the private events business at the Hall of Fame Village a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV HOFVW).


Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding guest service to clients vendors and internal stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.

Support the Senior Director and Sales Manager in the daytoday execution of the private events business.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and brand loyalty.

Assist events team with their efforts to maximize attendance engage guests and attract business sponsors as needed.

Complete the booking process from reservation to event completion.

Draft and update Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) communicating all relevant event details to internal teams.

Respond in a timely manner to calls inquiries and emails.

Work crossfunctionally with catering operations marketing and guest services to ensure smooth event delivery.

Support the coordination of largescale campus events and tentpole weekends assisting with event logistics communication and departmental collaboration as needed.

Ensure that event records contracts client notes and invoices are accurately maintained within the CRM system.

Participate in team meetings training programs and venue tours to stay informed and continuously grow in the role.

Represent Hall of Fame Village at local networking events and trade shows when appropriate.

Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

All other duties as assigned.


SALARY/EXEMPT POSITION

Requirements

Required Knowledge Skills & Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum of 13 years of experience working events preferably in hospitality.

Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.

Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate in a fastpaced environment.

Must possess a strong ability for effective time management and task prioritization.

Experience with strategic/complex opportunities a plus.

Strong relationships within Northeast Ohio business hospitality and event community desired.

Must be a flexible and reliable team player both within own department and entire organization.

Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.


Physical Requirements for Position:

The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions inside and outside.

The ability to move safely over uneven terrain steps or in construction zones.

The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.

The ability to sit stand squat and walk for periods of time as required for the position.

Must be able to hear see and speak.

Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.

Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

Must be available to work in Canton Ohio.
