Job Description

US CITIZENS with CLEARANCE ONLY

ASP Web Solutions LLC is looking for an Mail Room Operations Support to join our team in Gulfport MS. This person will
provide mail room operations for a triservice military organization in accordance
with U.S. Postal Regulations.


The ideal candidate is a highenergy individual with excellent organizational skills a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

The candidate will support theNaval Construction Training Center with mail collection schedules to
include official unofficial and controllable mail/package delivery operations for transient students and staff
personnel. In addition this employee requires access to Privacy Act and PII data in the course of their daily duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct/facilitate transportation of mail for distribution from local postmaster.
  • Collect process and dispatch outgoing/incoming post mail.
  • Maintain security and chain of custody of mail.
  • Train service personnel on proper mail handling procedures.
  • Process domestic claim registered insured or express mail inquiry forms.
  • Prepare for inspections by the Base Postmaster.
  • Prepare and review mail transportation documents.
  • Provide activity mail courier service; collect/sort/dispatch mail within NCTC headquarters and supporting facilities/schools.
  • Prepare and coordinate delivery notice/remainder receipt forms.
  • Date and inspect hold mail.
Requirements:
  • US Citizen with DoD Clearance
  • High school diploma
  • shall be familiar with US
    Postal regulations regarding the proper handling storage and distribution of mail
  • Strong organizational communication and timemanagement skills
  • Have ability to use reference guides/materials
  • Be courteous when dealing with customers
  • Be able to work closely with others
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Positive highenergy attitude
  • Be able to work independently to complete problems and resolve issues
  • Have a state drivers license
  • Resourcefulness creativity and problemsolving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers fax machines projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
  • Be able to perform such duties as lifting items up to 50 pounds carrying stooping and bending
