Job Description

Use Your Power for Purpose

Responsible for general facilities maintenance; oversees outside services including janitorial grounds keeping pest control along with contracted inspections and permits. Ensures maintenance and calibration process are performed safely and in compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements using current asset management system.
What You Will Achieve

In this role you will:

Oversee and plan the calibration repair and maintenance of all facility equipment including HVAC building grounds plant utilities and manufacturing equipment while ensuring all finished assignments are documented per cGMP requirements.
Oversee contracts and service providers for janitorial pest control lawncare/snow removal functions. Coordinate service contracts and inspections related to fire suppression and security systems.
Coordinate planned shutdowns new construction and facility improvements per lifecycle investment strategies.
Compose new or revise departmental SOPs ERs safety assessments and protocols as required.
Provide goals and directions for maintenance and calibration colleagues assuring that all processes are performed safely and in compliance with cGMP standards.
Responds to callouts and emergencies as necessary.




Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a masters degree with 0 years of experience;
OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school
diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with computerized asset management systems.
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
Understanding of GMP ISO and other regulatory standards applicable to a pharmaceutical API manufacturing facility
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

Knowledge of HVAC electrical electromechanical pneumatic electronics building maintenance pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment calibration of instruments and equipment.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (nonweather); work near moving mechanical parts; work in high precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (nonweather); extreme heat (nonweather) and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to distinguish colors and adjust focus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $to $. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 100% of the base salary.
