Job Description
Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Experience: 35 years
Required Skills:
- 35 years of handson experience in data engineering specifically with AWS cloud tools.
- Proficient in Python or Scala for data processing and scripting.
- Strong experience with AWS services: S3 Glue Redshift Lambda Athena EMR IAM.
- Solid understanding of SQL data modeling and data warehousing principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building maintaining and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Python.
- Support data migration and replication using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries to transform aggregate and validate datasets.
- Work with stakeholders to build Quicksight dashboards and support Power BI report development.
- Consume and integrate data from REST APIs and external sources.
- Contribute to organizing and cataloging data assets using AWS DataZone or related data governance tools.
- Help monitor data pipeline performance and resolve issues with data quality and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
