Job Description
Summer Camp Group Leader Tucson AZ /Amphitheater Public Schools
Camp Dates: Tuesday May 27th through Friday July 25th
Inspire and lead as a Summer Camp Group Leader in a dynamic environment that thrives on innovation excitement curiosity adventure and a sense of belonging. Our mission is to create an unforgettable summer experience for young minds fostering a sense of wonder and exploration. Join us in cultivating an environment where every camper feels a deep connection to the joy of learning the thrill of adventure and the warmth of belonging.
Location:Copper Creek and Holaway Elementary Schools
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:30 am 6:00 pm (Work schedule and hours are based on attendance) No weekends!
- $16/hour
- Employee referral program up to $150 for every successful new hire you refer

Heres what youll need:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 18 years old and six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency
- Proof of experience as required by AZ childcare licensing regulations
As an AlphaBEST Group Leader youll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness the arts technology and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite childrens sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students interests and talents.
- Provide a caring familyoriented environment where positive staff child and parent relationships are fostered.
