In this role you will play a key part in maintaining the building and grounds at Selinsgrove Center. In this position you will work independently as part of a team or under the guidance of a skilled tradesperson. Your duties will include maintaining the grounds performing lawn care and assisting with various maintenance shop tasks. Responsibilities involve operating a range of construction landscaping and maintenance tools and equipment as well as driving facility vehicles and delivering food and laundry to outlying buildings. Tasks such as snow plowing mowing and tool operation require practical skills learned on the job. You will carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance groundskeeping and transportation tasks with a high level of independence while more complex construction or repair work will be completed under the supervision of a skilled worker or supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM rotating scheduling and holidays with a 30minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel: As needed
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
