Description
At Altus Technology Solutions we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at our Grand Bay Primary Training Range in Valdosta GA. The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management operation and maintenance of the range making sound business decisions that impact substantial material human and financial resources.

In this role you will manage sitespecific efforts report weekly to the Program Manager and lead meetings personnel reviews safety enforcement forecasting staffing and quality assurance. You will also serve as the single point of contact for all contract requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise all staff functions providing technical and operational guidance to employees at all levels
- Plan staff organize and control daily site operations
- Ensure site capabilities and planning align with ongoing and future customer needs; incorporate industry changes into the program as needed
- Develop negotiate and execute contract obligations between the contractor and program customer with support from corporate leadership
- Uphold a high standard of professional excellence; develop and implement training programs for new hires upgrades and refresher courses for current employees
- Lead an active safety program in accordance with OSHA and company policies ensuring worker safety in hazardous conditions
- Establish and enforce Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Plans
- Identify priorities for project accomplishment and allocate resources accordingly; manage weekly and monthly schedules for all sections
- Serve as the single point of contact for all contract requirements and provide consistent communication and reports to leadership and the customer
Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred; in lieu of degree five (5) years of related experience or High School Diploma with eight (8) years of experience
- At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in B&G range operations maintenance logistics control functions and personnel management
- Minimum 23 years of experience working with assigned Bombing & Gunnery range systems with site management experience of a DoD aircraft training range within the last 5 years
- Preferred expertise as a Range Control Officer and training in Military Radio Telephone Procedures (RTP)
- Strong understanding of maintenance operational safety automation and quality assurance
- Working knowledge of Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) and proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Interim Clearance will be accepted)
- Valid Drivers License
- Physical ability to sit for periods of two (2) hours or more lift and carry packages up to 20 lbs bend/stoop twist/turn kneel/crouch and operate a 1ton fourwheel drive vehicle
Work Conditions
- Work performed in both indoor climatecontrolled environments and outdoor field conditions
- Subject to high noise levels and vibrations
- Required to work under stress and during offhours as needed
- Operates in a remote setting with minimal direct supervision
