Job Description
Responsibilities
The General Manager will assist firstline managers to achieve their goals and ensure that all Branches within Expanse Electrical are functioning effectively. Their specific duties may include:
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Hiring new staff within a department or Branch
- Ensuring that departments or Branches deliver quality offerings to clients
- Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients
- Developing new solutions to meet client needs
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing projects and interpreting performance reports
- Managing budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or Branch
- Keen strategic thinking and planning
- Understating of budget management and financial monitoring
Qualifications
- Excellent leadership skills including goal setting motivating training and mentorship
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including writing speaking and active listening
- Effective conflict resolution and problemsolving skills
- Good organization and time management
- Comfortable in a fastpaced or highpressure environment
- Indepth knowledge of Electrical and Oil & Gas Industry
- 5 years of Management experience required.
- Coordinates and inspects the work of multiple Branches
- Able to travel long distances on short notice when required.
- Able to work for extended periods in various locations when required.
- Comply with company reporting procedures and complete required company paperwork.
- Possesses a Drivers License and demonstrates safe driving.
- Computer skills required ability to use Word Excel Power Point Share Point etc.
