As a Product Manager in Digital Payments you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the endtoend product life cycle. As a core leader you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground you guide the successful launch of products gather crucial feedback and ensure toptier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability resiliency and stability you collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns maintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost feature and functionality risk posture and reliability
- In close collaboration with engineering and design partners periodically assess and optimize processes to improve team running.
- Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap
- Assist in production support for clients including troubleshooting client issues defect management and client escalations
- Work incredibly well with crossfunctional partners and in a matrix environment including partnering with Product Sales Analytics and Design teams to recognize key growth areas for the business and emerging client needs
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
- Knowledge of Payments products (Payment Rails Receivables Merchant Services)
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis; strong organizational skills and detailorientation
- Ability to analyze business opportunities and create business/project plans that can be executed against with strong business cases
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills (both written and verbal); ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and collaborate across teams
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management.
- Experience documenting requirements and articulating use cases in well written EPICs and User Stories
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics.
- Experience working with multilevel management and groups.
- Scrum Experience is a plus
- Experience with the Agile Delivery of products
