Job Description

Role: Mechanical Engineer

Client: DefenseAerospace

Pay Rate: up to $64/hr W2 nonbenefited

Length: 18month contract

Location:Florham Park NJ

Clearance: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.

Description:

As a mechanical engineer youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing hardware for challenging maritime applications.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: CAD mechanical design (especially CREO) structural and thermal analysis design for harsh environments (especially maritime).

Required Experience:

Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods as well as technical government and industry standards
Collaborative creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Education:

Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of jobrelated experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of jobrelated experience
