Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Data Cleansing and Certification Analyst to join our global ERP digital transformation team. The successful candidate will focus on data cleansing and certification work across the entire data conversion process ensuring the accuracy integrity and quality of data throughout the migration process. This role is hybrid with an expectation to be in office at least 6070% of the week.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Conversion Procedures: Assist in data conversion activities from initial data cleansing and extraction to final business validation. Support the design and development of data conversion procedures and applications ensuring alignment with validation goals.
    Data Validation and Documentation: Perform rigorous business validation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness throughout the conversion process. Identify and resolve datarelated issues. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data conversion processes standards and procedures.
  • Issue Management and Quality Assurance: Triage issues/defects and work with the required team(s) to resolve the issue. Work with workstream leads to resolve any issues that arise during the data cleansing process. Inform the Data Cleansing and Certification Lead of any issues that may affect the schedule budget or quality of the data or the cleansing process. Ensure that all data cleansing activities adhere to quality standards and best practices.
  • Certification: Certify data quality and integrity ensuring compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
  • Communication and Continuous Improvement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on data cleansing progress and issues. Identify opportunities for improving data cleansing processes and implement best practices.

Key Challenges:

  • Managing the complexity of data from multiple legacy systems while ensuring seamless integration into the new system.
  • Identifying documenting and resolving data discrepancies throughout the cleansing certification and postconversion validation processes when working with tight deadlines and multiple teams.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in data management data conversion or a related role.
  • Experience in supporting data conversion projects preferably in a largescale ERP implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Power BI and/or Excel skills (including Power Queries)
  • Certification in Data Management or related fields.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft SAP Oracle Fusion or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems and best practices
  • Accounting experience a plus.
