Location Sydney or Melbourne
About the role:
Lead and manage fire compliance and upgrade projects from inception to completion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Ensure all documentation and reporting are completed accurately and timely
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Identifying and assessing potential fire risks in buildings and facilities.
Understanding and applying relevant fire safety codes and standards.
Identifying and assessing potential asbestos and confined spaces in buildings and facilities.
Communicate fire safety design objectives and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
Responsible for analysing fire risk scenarios and developing appropriate solutions.
ProblemSolving: Identifying and resolving fire safety issues.
Ensure accurate design calculations and specifications

Criteria:
Proven leadership experience managing a team of highly skilled engineers.
Strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems and regulatory requirements
Experience within commercial and healthcare facilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to compile detailed and accurate reports.
Highly consultative with proven record of building & maintaining client relationships.
An excellent understating of various types of systems such as fire extinguishers fire hose reels & fire hydrants across commercial and industrial properties
Strong operational and safety skills.
Effective communicator at all levels.
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc BEng).
Extensive experience in hydraulic services design within the building services industry.
Tertiary qualifications in project management a building related discipline or equivalent extensive and relevant experience.
