Rostering Functional Analyst

Position Description:

Recognised as one of the worlds largest IT and business consulting firms CGI has offices across Australia supporting local public and private sector clients to solve real business problems.

We have a new opportunity for a Functional Analyst to join our team at the start of a new project in an exciting growth phase.

The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and will work as part of a growing team providing knowledge and advice on standard system capabilities sustainable customisation where standard functionality does not meet business objectives and creating system and support documentation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with business units to understand their processes and requirements translating these into detailed build requirements for enterprise solutions.
Create and draw Business Process Flow (BPF) diagrams and other technical diagrams.
Assist with the data migration design from legacy systems to new solutions.
Assist with system testing to guarantee functional requirements are met and to identify any potential issues. This includes executing test cases and performing endtoend testing.
Develop training materials and deliver user training sessions to ensure effective adoption of enterprise solutions across the organisation.
Provide ongoing support including analysing and resolving system issues responding to user queries and coordinating with technical resources when necessary.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Previous experience as a Functional Analyst working for a large IT/ICT organisation or IT projects delivering large scale rostering solutions for workforces exceeding 5000 people.
Experience delivering significant and/or complex digital transformation.
Familiarity with business process reengineering and the creation of detailed workflow diagrams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business needs and translate them into functional solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills ensuring collaboration across business and technical teams.
Experience with system documentation training and postimplementation support.
