Job Description
The opportunity:
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Panel Beater / Body Builder to join our Caloundra workshop team helping maintain repair our fleet of buses to the highest standards.
In this handson role youll be responsible for repairing and fabricating bus body components to keep our fleet in top condition. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy working in a supportive safetyfocused environment wed love to hear from you.
Youll be involved in:
- Repairing and replacing damaged bus panels frames and structural components to maintain vehicle integrity.
- Repairing and fabricating body parts and fittings based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Repairing and finishing surfaces through welding grinding and preparation for painting.
- Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

The boxes youll tick:
- Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or other relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in panel/body repairs on heavy vehicles.
- Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
