Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Lake and Redshift environments. The BI Analyst will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining BI solutions to support datadriven decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling ETL processes dashboard development and performance optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to visualize business insights.
Work with large datasets in AWS Data Lake Redshift and other AWS data services.
Optimize ETL processes using AWS Glue Lambda and Step Functions.
Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction transformation and analysis.
Ensure data integrity consistency and security within AWS environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
Monitor and optimize Redshift clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
Implement data governance best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and dashboards.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field.
3 years of experience in business intelligence data analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
Handson experience with AWS Redshift AWS Data Lake Glue Athena and related AWS services.
Strong experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or QuickSight.
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes within AWS environments.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization for AWS Redshift and largescale data warehouses.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty AWS Solutions Architect).
Experience with data lake architecture and data cataloging tools.
Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics within AWS.
Experience with version control and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
