Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Maintenance
Work Schedule: MF 8am5pm
Positions Supervised: N/A
Job Status: Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft while complying with company and FAA rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as assigned by the Lead Mechanic.
- Accomplishes assigned maintenance tasks within the scope of the standard practice and procedures set forth by the Lead Mechanic and associated manuals and procedures.
- Complies with all companys rules and regulations regarding industrial safety.
- Maintain equipment tools and the workplace in a clean and orderly manner.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation regulations and manufacturers manuals
- Subject to alcohol and drug testing program
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience: 1 year or more of pistonpowered and General Aviation experience
Certificates & Licenses: Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
