NOCCCD is now accepting applications for an ESL Instructor at Fullerton College!
Essential Functions
Examples of essential functions are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
Desirable Qualifications
Commitment to examine reflect and modify instructional relational and classroom practices in order to effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with the goal of closing equity gaps.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in TESL TESOL applied linguistics with a TESL emphasis linguistics with a TESL emphasis English with a TESL emphasis or education with a TESL emphasis OR Bachelors in TESL TESOL English with a TESL certificate linguistics with a TESL certificate applied linguistics with a TESL certificate or any foreign language with a TESL certificate AND masters in linguistics applied linguistics English composition bilingual/bicultural studies reading speech or any foreign language OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom.
