Job Description
Job Title: CrossFunctional Projects Manager
Department: Operations
FLSA Status: FT SalaryExempt
Hours per week: 40
Salary range: $55000 $65000
Job Summary
SafeNest is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our work is to empower survivors raise awareness and work towards a violencefree community.
The Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and evaluation of key initiatives that support SafeNests strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Planning
- Develop and manage project plans budgets and timelines for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Align project goals with organizational strategy and community needs.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate activities share resources and streamline project workflows.
- Facilitate crossfunctional meetings to ensure clarity and momentum across departments.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the coordination of staff volunteers consultants and partner organizations.
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Track progress against deliverables prepare internal and external reports and evaluate project impact.
- Proactively manage project risks and recommend course corrections.
- Budget Oversight
- Work with finance and program leads to monitor and manage project budgets responsibly.

Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of project management experience preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
Education: Bachelors degree in Management Public Administration or related field required; PMP certification or Masters degree a plus.
Skills:
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Asana Trello ).
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable navigating crossfunctional collaboration in a hybrid or remote environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- This position will primarily work in an office environment and must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and use a computer or other office equipment.
- The work may require occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events or meet critical deadlines.
- The work environment may be fastpaced and dynamic requiring the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations.
