Summary:
Workday is the leading cloudbased Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution providing a unified finance human resources and student/faculty experience. American University (AU) implemented Workday for Finance Budget Human Resources and Payroll and is now embarking on the implementation of Workday Student. This internship welcomes AU students from any major to apply and provides an opportunity to gain marketable realworld experience in Workday. The successful candidate will support AUs Office of Information Technology (OIT) and university stakeholders in the implementation of Workday and collaborate with other interns the implementation partner (Workday Professional Services) and the AU project team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with AU OIT staff in design sessions with Workday implementation team.
Draft documentation and technical specifications.
Assist with data comparisons between operational systems and the Workday system.
Assist with data conversion and integrations requirements assessment and verification.
Assist with testing data conversions and integrations in Workday.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:
Candidates should be available 15 20 hours per week during regular business hours for a minimum commitment of one semester with an option to extend.
The position is primarily remote with one day a month in the office.

Salary Range:
$18$19 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Relevant academic experience (e.g. information systems SQL programming languages).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal writing and oral communications skills.
Ability to be resourceful take initiative and be willing to take on whatever tasks are needed.
Ability to manage prioritize and multitask on multiple projects in a fastpaced work environment.
Ability to follow directions exercise good judgment and work independently.
Ability to work well as a part of the team.
Interest in Workday student lifecycle business processes information technology change management communication or project management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Sophomore students and above including graduate students.
