Description
The Retirement Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering retirement plans and programs for Victaulic employees retirees and beneficiaries. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements providing guidance to employees and retirees on retirement options and supporting the overall retirement strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retirement Plan Administration:Manage and administer companysponsored retirement plans including 401(k) pension plans retiree medical and other retirement savings programs.
- Employee and Retiree Support:Provide guidance and support to employees retirees and beneficiaries regarding retirement plan options benefits and enrollment processes.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to retirement plans and programs.
- Education and Communication:Develop and deliver educational materials and presentations to employees about retirement planning and benefits.
- Vendor Management:Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure efficient administration of retirement plans.
- Reporting:Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to retirement plans and employee participation.
- Strategy Support:Assist in the development and implementation of the companys retirement strategy and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 35 years of experience in retirement plan administration or a related role.
- Knowledge:Strong understanding of retirement plan regulations compliance requirements and best practices.
- Skills:Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retirement plan management software.
- Certifications:Professional certifications such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) SHRMCP or SHRMSCP are preferred.
