The Longterm Resource Plan (LTRP) creates a plan for Church growth in an area and the resources needed to support growth in a simple and affordable way. The Area Planning Manager (APM) is a critical role supporting the Area Presidency and director for temporal affairs (DTA) that identifies opportunities to enhance ecclesiastical and operational performance based on detailed analysis of data and trends. Additionally after priority opportunities and insights are generated the APM leads projects to design and test solutions for broadscale implementation including process improvements that may lead to automation. By implementing the recommended solutions and evaluating their success progress towards achieving the temporal and ecclesiastical goals outlined in the Area Plan and LTRP will be improved.
