Position Details:
Teaching Hours:
Weekdays (MonFri): 3 AM 6 AM SAST and/or 2 PM 6 PM SAST (minimum 4 peak hours/day).
Weekends (SatSun): 3 AM 6 AM SAST and/or 2 PM 6 PM SAST (minimum 5 peak hours/day).
Rate: $6 USD per hour.
Contract Type: Independent Service Provider.
Requirements
- English first language speaker.
- Minimum 1 year of online teaching experience.
- Completed tertiary qualification (Diploma/Degree).
- Accredited 120hour TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification.
- Clean criminal record.
Technical Requirements:
- PC: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz 4 CPUs) or better 8GB RAM or greater.
- Internet: Stable fiber connection 20 Mbps upload 30 Mbps download) via LAN cable.
- Backup Power: UPS with 45 hours battery life (if in an area with power interruptions).
- Equipment: Noisecancelling headset HD webcam 720p) and a quiet welllit teaching space.
