You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA prestigious group of hospitals and clinics specializing in Radiation Oncology in Germany is looking for a General Practitioner to undertake their Specialization Position (Facharztausbildung) in this specialty.
The residency takes place in a highly professional clinical environment with stateoftheart medical technology and a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care. The goal is to obtain the official title of specialist in Radiation Oncology upon completion of the training program in accordance with the requirements set by the German Medical Chamber (rztekammer).
The duration of the specialization is 60 months 5 years) with an official training plan covering all required competencies in medical imaging nuclear medicine and radiological therapies.
STRUCTURE OF THE TRAINING
Duration:
5 years 60 months) of supervised training.
Minimum 36 months in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology.
Up to 12 months in related fields (Nuclear Medicine Neuroradiology etc..
At least 24 months in a hospital with continuous care (oncall duty).
Contents:
Image interpretation (Xray CT MRI).
Interventional procedures.
Radiation protection.
Clinical management and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Documentation:
Learning record in a Logbuch (official training book).
Final Examination:
Oral examination before the rztekammer committee (Medical Chamber).
Completion of the entire Logbuch required.
Medical Language Examination (Fachsprachprfung):
C1 level in medical German.
Oral practical evaluation focused on comprehension patient communication and
report writing.

Competitive salary with annual increases:
First year: approximatelygross/month.
Last year: approximatelygross/month.
With shifts and oncall duties: the possibility of reaching 7000 or more in
some cases.
