Job Description
Overview
The Developer plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of applications within the organization. This position requires a strong proficiency in programming to design develop and implement software solutions that enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency. The developer will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand user requirements develop technical specifications and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will not only have technical expertise but also the ability to work in an agile environment driving innovation and ensuring quality in all deliverables. This role is essential for optimizing existing applications and creating robust new solutions that align with the organizations strategic goals making the developer a vital asset in achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain web applications using and frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and functionalities.
- Write clean scalable and efficient code while following best practices of software development.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Integrate thirdparty APIs and services to enhance application capabilities.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Maintain and update existing documentation for applications and processes.
- Work within project timelines and deliver quality results under pressure.
- Adopt and promote Agile methodologies within the development team.
- Assist in the migration of legacy applications to modern frameworks.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and propose solutions to increase efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate application functionalities and ensure user acceptance testing is executed.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and coordinate fixes with minimal downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on .
- Handson experience with SQL Server and web technologies.
- Strong understanding of ObjectOriented Programming principles.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Proficient in version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Experience with cloud computing services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous interaction with clients and understanding of their software needs is a plus.
