Job Description: Interior Designer Hospitality Focus
Position Title: Interior Designer Hospitality
Location: Santacruz (West) Mumbai
Department: Architecture & Interior Design
Reports To: Lead Interior Designer/Project Manager
Job Type: Fulltime

We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer with a background in hospitality to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design detailoriented and able to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptual Design & Development:
- Create unique and impactful interior design concepts for hospitality projects including hotels resorts and restaurants.
- Develop mood boards sketches color schemes and design narratives to communicate ideas and design direction.
- Research and stay uptodate with the latest hospitality design trends materials and innovations to ensure designs are relevant and innovative.
- Space Planning & Layout Design:
- Develop efficient and effective space plans for various hospitality settings considering functionality traffic flow and user experience.
- Work with architects and project teams to ensure seamless integration of interior design with overall building architecture.
- Material & Finishes Selection:
- Select and specify materials finishes furnishings lighting and accessories tailored to hospitality projects.
- Ensure selections align with the brand identity and design vision of the project while being functional durable and costeffective.
- Client Interaction & Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between clients project managers and other team members to understand design expectations and requirements.
- Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback to refine and finalize designs.
- Provide solutions that align with the clients aesthetic goals budgets and timelines.
- Project Management & Documentation:
- Prepare detailed design presentations technical drawings and specifications (AutoCAD SketchUp Revit etc..
- Oversee the preparation and coordination of construction documentation including final design packages 3D renders and visualizations.
- Ensure that design is executed to specification during the construction phase including site visits reviewing samples and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain design integrity throughout the project ensuring quality control at every stage.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members including architects engineers lighting designers and contractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership to junior designers offering guidance mentorship and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Interior Design Architecture or related field.
- Minimum years of experience in interior design with a focus on hospitality projects (hotels resorts restaurants bars lounges etc..
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Suite Revit 3D modeling etc..
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous hospitality projects (both conceptual and executed).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong creative vision with a deep understanding of hospitality design trends and user experience.
- Excellent space planning and layout design skills.
- Knowledge of furniture lighting finishes and material selection specifically for hospitality spaces.
- Attention to detail ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of building codes regulations and sustainability practices in interior design.
- Additional Qualities:
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Clientoriented approach with a focus on delivering highquality results.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
Desirable Qualities:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Experience with highend luxury hospitality projects.
- Familiarity with hospitality branding and identity design.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
