Job Description
4 month contract with a local Authority
Job Purpose
- To ensure that construction projects are delivered on time within budget and to required standards by managing costs quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Review plans for a diverse range of construction projects.
- Conduct onsite inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations
- Provide Building Control advice through various channels (phone email in person).
- Inspect dangerous structures during regular working hours.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and correspondence.
- Support the training of Trainee and Assistant Surveyors.
- Assist the Principal Surveyor and Team Manager with additional team duties.
Essential Qualifications needed
- Minimum Class 2A in BSR.
Additional information to note
- This role is 37 working hours per week.
- Must Hold full UK driving License.
