Service Setting: Pediatrics ICU and Pediatric Transitional Care Unit (TCUP)
Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Coverage Period: 07/21/2025 6 months (pending credentialing 6090 days)
Clinical Shift Schedule: 12hour shifts (Day Night Weekend)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Pediatric inpatient care
Noninvasive mechanical ventilation management (BIPAP CPAP high flow nasal cannula)
Postoperative specialty surgical care
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active California NP license required
Certifications: BLS CPNPAC required (for NP); DEA required
Experience: Minimum 1 year PICU PCICU or Peds Hospitalist experience required
Other Qualifications: Pediatric oncology experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide pediatric critical care and transitional care in the PICU and TCUP units
Perform 12hour clinical shifts including day night and weekend coverage
Manage patients requiring noninvasive ventilation and postoperative care
Maintain documentation in Epic EMR system
Work collaboratively in a hospital setting as part of a pediatric care team
