Job Description
For our client we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Testing Lead
Selected specialist will be responsible for overseeing the QA team to ensure products and services meet high standards of quality including performance usability and reliability. This includes defining and executing quality assurance strategies developing test plans identifying issues and ensuring the Pod maintains exceptional testing practices.
Team:
Selected specialist will be part of the GM Financing Stream specifically in the Prime Brokerage and Swaps Crew playing a critical role in driving the platforms transition to the cloud. The environment is collaborative innovationdriven and emphasizes ownership transparency and partnership with stakeholders.
Important:
It is obligatory to work from the end client office 23 times per week (Wroc aw or Krak w)
Start date: May/June
Project duration: 12 months
- Lead and mentor the test engineering team offering support and technical guidance
- Establish and manage QA protocols aligned with strategic testing standards and practices
- Design develop and carry out test plans cases scripts and procedures
- Detect document and track bugs and inconsistencies
- Work closely with Crew Leads Test Engineering Chapter Lead and Agile Coaches to maintain quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Partner with Development Leads to identify challenges opportunities and collaborative improvements
- Be handson in test automation contributing to frameworks and setting best practices for API streaming and nonfunctional testing (both cloud and onpremise)
- Analyze test results and communicate findings to development teams
- Ensure adherence to industry compliance standards
- Continuously refine QA methodologies and promote process improvements
- Stay current on QA trends tools and technologies
Must have:
- at least 6 years of proven experience in both functional testing (accuracy functionality usability) and nonfunctional testing (security performance reliability)
- Commitment to continuous learning and sharing of best practices within the QA community
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions and contribute across teams and ceremonies
- Deep knowledge of software development especially in cloud (Azure) and onprem environments with eventdriven architectures
- Experience building and delivering automation frameworks for cloud/onprem applications covering APIs streaming and eventbased solutions
- Expertise across the testing pyramid with handson work in unit component integration and nonfunctional testing
- Demonstrated ability to meet nonfunctional requirements like scalability latency and throughput
- Solid understanding of agile development practices (particularly Scrum)
- Good SQL skills (DML DDL) and basic database knowledge (e.g. transactions sessions)
- Familiarity with Unix shell commands for basic troubleshooting and system navigation
