Business travels:possible within Europe maximum once per quarter
Serve as an SQL Analyst / SQL Developer within a technical team of 510 members based in Ireland and internationally.
The team s primary function is to source and deliver data for the SAP Finance system while also supporting SRB regulatory requirements.
Ensure highquality solution delivery that aligns with the bank s technical objectives and meets BCBS regulatory obligations.
Work with a diverse technology stack including enterprise tools such as Teradata Informatica Axon SAP and AWS as well as LoCode platforms like Alteryx and SAS.
Operate in an Agile environment collaborating closely with end users in the Finance Business Unit.
Must have skills:
Computer Science Degree
Fluent English
Advanced understanding of the technology stack with a particular focus on Databases SQL ETL tools etc
Advanced proven SQL experience
7 years commercial experience in enterprise IT projects
5 years in Financial Institutions working directly with end users
5 years leading team but must still have the desire / capability
Proven track record of working on an enterprise system that made it into production
Commercial experience with end users directly
Experience in building a system or making substantial changes and has practical experience of succeeding in an FI / Highly regulated environment
Strong advanced skills (collaborative mindset ability to work with both onshore and nearshore teams along with the ability to succeed in a matrix organization)
Nice to have skills:
Agile experience ie achieved outcomes rather than just followed methodology
