Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to join our team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning coordination and execution of corporate and client events. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience and contribute to the success of highprofile events.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events conferences and client functions.
Liaise with vendors venues and clients to ensure event requirements are met.
Manage event logistics including transportation catering and accommodation arrangements.
Help prepare event materials and manage onsite event operations.
Assist in maintaining event budgets and tracking expenses.
Provide support during event setup breakdown and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Prepare event reports and postevent evaluations.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Event Management Marketing or a related field (preferred).
12 years of experience in event coordination or a similar role.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
