Job Description

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience in Vactor Truck operation. The selected individual will be responsible for operating equipment related to highway maintenance tasks as assigned. DCS is open to providing training to the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform catch basin cleaning under State Maintenance Contracts.
- Operate and maintain equipment necessary for these duties.
- Operate Catch Basin Clam Truck Dump Truck Vactor Truck and other CDLrequired vehicles within the license classification.
- Implement traffic control measures including setting up safety zones and directing traffic.
- Load and unload material cleaned from structures.
- Conduct pretrip inspections of vehicles.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are used safely.
- May be required to drive standard shift vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Willing to work nights or whatever is needed.
Qualifications :
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Experience:
- Valid Class B CDL with Air Brakes and Tanker Endorsement.
- 5 years clean motor vehicle driving record.
- At least 5 years of experience operating a Vactor Truck.
- OSHA 10 Certification in Construction.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Availability for emergency situations.
- Experience in highway maintenance or construction is preferred.
