About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director Partnerships Effective Philanthropy you will provide strategic advice and support to team members enabling the effective establishment and ongoing management of collaborations and relationships with partners and stakeholders. 

You will contribute to a highperforming collaborative team and drive impact by working productively and efficiently partnering closely with other Focus and Enabler areas as part of our matrix structure while promoting our One Minderoo Culture.

As the Partnerships Lead First Nations Communities you will focus on partners stakeholders and beneficiaries to support the execution of Minderoos strategic goals.

Your daytoday responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Communities Focus Area team members to establish and manage collaborations with partners in line with our partnering philosophy and processes.
  • Providing advice to team members to strengthen outcomes by deepening their understanding of partnership management practices.
  • Partnering with the Communities Focus Area team to scope and develop partnership agreements while evaluating partnerships for strategic alignment impact effectiveness and key learnings.
  • Serving as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders fostering open communication and mutual understanding.
  • Maintaining broad sector knowledge and building strong values aligned relationships and networks across enabling functions and multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications :

About You

You are someone who thrives in collaborative environments and believes in the power of partnerships to drive change. You hold a degree qualification or have equivalent work experience.

Additionally you will bring:

  • Around 10 years experience improving outcomes and impact within partnerships environments.
  • Previous experience in an advisory role providing guidance on internal processes.
  • Competency with technology including MS Office suite and familiarity with databases such as CRMs.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to reconcile diverse viewpoints and negotiate effectively with partners and stakeholders.  

Above all you are a team player who values relationshipbuilding and you are passionate about contributing to equity between First Nations and nonIndigenous Australians.
