About The Position
The Senior Director Network Operations will provide direct support to COOs and Regional Directors of Operations driving attendance and enrollment outcomes within a specific portfolio of KIPP regions. This role is a perfect position for a seasoned COO or networklevel Director of Operations with a proven track record of driving results through others and who is now ready to make a wider impact on outcomes across KIPPs national school network. The Senior Director Network Operations will report to the Vice President Network Operations and will set the bar of excellence build capacity and hold regional leaders accountable to results primarily focused on the areas of chronic absenteeism student retention and enrollment. This individual will need to be able to build strong relationships with network leaders and build credibility with key stakeholders by learning the needs of regions and schools and delivering differentiated support that meets them where they are.
Responsibilities
Achieve Annual Operations Goals (Chronic Absenteeism Student Retention and Enrollment) for Portfolio of KIPP Regions
Ensure regional and school ops leaders have aligned and ambitious goals and focused roles and responsibilities
Support in the development and adoption of monitoring tools to effectively track progress to goals
Monitor portfolio and schoollevel progress and performance this will include regular tracking and data collection to monitor progress and improvement
Coach Toward the Bar of Excellence in Chronic Absenteeism Student Retention and Enrollment One KIPP Implementation
Provide direct support and coaching to a core subset of KIPP COOs and Regional Directors of Operations
Annual/quarterly/monthly planning with individual network leaders with a focus on driving results in a set of shared measures (attendance student retention enrollment).
Author and compile highleverage resources for network leaders to utilize (i.e. turnkey PDs trackers templates etc.) that not only serve as model of excellence but also provide a direct valueadd to the network
Build and utilize tools and systems to observe and provide feedback on core standardized ops practices
Provide networkwide training on core leader moves
Develop and implement intervention plans for regions that are significantly offtrack from their Ops Anchor Metric goals
Support hiring and onboarding of seniormost ops leader in regions in their portfolio
Coordinate Sharing and Learning Across the Network
Cascade best practices and learnings from KIPP Foundation bestinclass systems and processes to portfolio regions
Work to identify trends in needs across portfolio regions and where KIPP Foundation resources can be best leveraged to improve results

Experience & Qualifications
3 years as Chief Operations Officer or networklevel operations leader in a K12 organization
Track record of driving exemplary outcomes in key operation measures: enrollment student retention and chronic absenteeism and other related school and regional operations performance areas
Proven ability to coach adults effectively and plan and professional development with a clear focus and impact;
Comfort with a dynamic fastpaced environment of high energy rapid change and ambiguity
Demonstrated passion for achieving the educational mission of the organization

Location
It is preferred but not mandatory for this role to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office. This role also has the option of working from a remote office fulltime. KIPP Foundation offices are in NYC and Chicago.
Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with local law we are disclosing the compensation or a range thereof for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to external market data internal equity and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $150000 $181000. In addition KIPP Foundation provides a variety of benefits to employees including:
25 holidays for 18 days additional flexible PTO days (flexible PTO increases to 23 days for years 3 and 4 and to 28 days for years 5).
