Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Environmental and Permitting Office of the Ignitis Renewables team where youll be taking care of onshore environmentand permitting activities in Latvia. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Managing the process parties involved and relatedissues: environmental impactassessments territoryplanning environmental due diligence site evaluation and etc.
- Keeping close communication with the development construction operations and engineering teams to create an environmental permitting and operation strategy which ensures all current and future projects adhere to permitting regulations and legislationin Latvia market
- Collaborating with local authoritiesand communitiesto ensure thatdeveloped objects fulfillthe required permitting processes successfully
- Serving as the primary point of contact both internally and externally in relation to environment
- Translating complex problems into easily understandable tasks and tangible actions
- Delivering specialist training and development across the businesswhich meets Companyvision and helps drive a culture ofbehavioralchange
- Liaising with the appropriate statutory bodies on behalf ofthe Companyand its customers to ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor or higher degree in environmental management sciences engineering or relevant field
- 2years of experienceworking theabovedescribedarea of responsibilities
- Indepth knowledge of Latvia environmental and territory planning regulatory requirements
- Experience of sitebased audit preparation of Environmental impact assessment documentation or other environmental documents. Experience in renewable energy area would be considered as an advantage
- Great communication and negotiation to solve problems quickly with advanced conflict resolution skills
- Abilityto take strategic views of environmental sustainability requirements for the business
- IT literacy knowledge MSOffice(WordExcel PowerPointMS Project)
- Proficiency in English and Latvian language.
