Job Description
ServiceNow ITOM ITAM and CSDM Architecture & Development
Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions for Discovery Service Mapping Event Management Cloud Management and Asset Management.
Develop CSDMaligned CMDB architectures ensuring data integrity compliance and governance.
Create custom applications workflows and integrations to enhance ServiceNow s ITOM & ITAM capabilities.
Optimize ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping for multicloud and onpremises environments.
2. HandsOn Development & Platform Engineering
Develop advanced ServiceNow customizations using JavaScript Flow Designer Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs.
Automate IT operations using ServiceNow Orchestration PowerShell Python and cloudnative solutions.
Enhance IT Asset Management (HAM SAM) to optimize software license usage and compliance.
Ensure high availability performance tuning and scalability of ServiceNow implementations
3. CMDB Governance & Data Quality
Establish and maintain CSDM best practices aligning CMDB with business services and IT operations.
Implement data validation rules reconciliation processes and integration strategies to maintain CMDB accuracy.
Work closely with stakeholders to optimize ServiceNow data models for operational intelligence.
4. Integration & Automation
Develop robust API integrations between ServiceNow and thirdparty ITOM/ITAM tools including cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Automate service workflows using Event Management AI Ops and predictive analytics.
Optimize ITOM health dashboards and reporting to provide realtime insights into IT infrastructure.
5. Continuous Improvement & Technical Leadership
Evaluate and implement emerging ServiceNow capabilities such as AIdriven automation and ITOM Predictive Intelligence.
Drive continuous platform optimization reducing technical debt and improving service delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to define best practices coding standards and performance tuning techniques.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
12 years of software engineering experience with 6 years in ServiceNow ITOM ITAM and CSDM development.
Expertlevel proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript Glide APIs REST/SOAP APIs PowerShell Python).
Deep understanding of CSDM CMDB governance IT Asset Lifecycle Management and Discovery.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud providers (AWS Azure GCP) and IT monitoring tools.
Strong knowledge of ITIL framework ITOM automation and event correlation techniques.
Handson experience with ServiceNow MID Servers Web Services and Flow Designer.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITOM ITAM or CSDM preferred.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.
