Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Position:Scrub Tech
- Job Type:FullTime
- Location:Community Hospital/Operating Room
- Open until July 30 2025 or until filled
Responsibilities:
- Set up surgical instruments sterile drapes and sterile solutions.
- Ensure equipment is working properly and positioned for use.
- Ensure the operating room is fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical assistants during surgery.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to facilitate the procedure.
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleansing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain sterility.
- Maintain accurate surgical counts of sponges needles and instruments to prevent retained
surgical items. - Operate and maintain surgical equipment such as lights suction machines and sterilization
tools.
Requirements:
High school diploma
One (1) year of related experience preferred
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
Current and unrestricted Colorado state licensure as a CST
Current BLS
Compensation:
- NonCertified: $24.00 $27.60 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Certified: $30.00 $34.50 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Bonus: $10 000 (paid out over 3 years)
