Pay: $ 30.66 per hour

General Summary of Duties:

The work involves responsibility for the provision of professional nursing services as required in the designated Steuben County department. The work is performed in accordance with the wellestablished and accepted nursing practices special orders from physicians NYS DOH rules and regulations applicable to Steuben County and local policies and procedures as set by department head. Work is performed under the direct oversight of the Director or designee with some leeway allowed the incumbent for the exercise of independent judgement in carrying out professional nursing duties in accordance with the established routines. Depending on assignment supervision may be exercised over the work of related nursing personnel. Does related work as required.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a school of nursing registered by the State Education Department from a course approved such department as a qualifying for Registered Professional Nurse.
• Possession of a currently valid license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State is required for appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
