Job Description

Were looking for an experienced Automation Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and robotics and will be responsible for troubleshooting maintaining and repairing automated production systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Maintain and repair stamping presses robotic systems and PLCcontrolled machinery.
  • Calibrate adjust and optimize equipment for performance and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical electrical and operational issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance: lubrication cleaning inspections etc.
  • Support setup and changeover of stamping dies and equipment for various parts.

Safety Compliance

  • Follow all workplace safety regulations and protocols.
  • Immediately report and help resolve safety concerns.

Continuous Improvement

  • Work with engineers and the production team to improve automated processes.
  • Propose and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Analyze data and trends to improve system performance.

Training & Documentation

  • Document all maintenance activities repairs and technical issues.
  • Learn machine operation from operators and receive technical training from engineers.

What Were Looking For

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of robotics PLCs electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset for improving system performance.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or certification in automation robotics or PLC programming.
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
