Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Bakery to join our culinary team in Bogor Indonesia. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our bakery operations.

  • Prepare a wide variety of baked goods including breads pastries cakes and desserts ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Develop and test new recipes to expand our bakery offerings and keep up with current trends
  • Manage daily production schedules and coordinate with other kitchen sections to meet customer demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in baking techniques and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special promotions
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
  • Assist in cost control measures by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage
  • Participate in menu planning and pricing discussions with the management team

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 23 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen setting
  • Culinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts preferred
  • Proven expertise in various baking techniques and production of a wide range of baked goods
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices with current food safety certification
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in product quality
  • Proficiency in using and maintaining bakery equipment and tools
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative recipes and presentations
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary
  • Basic math skills for recipe calculations and inventory management
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts weekends and holidays as required
  • Passion for baking and commitment to delivering highquality products
