Job Description

The Director Growth Products (Agentic Commerce) is part of Visa Europes wider Growth Products & Partnerships team focused on forging new commercial structures and nontraditional product partnerships across key emerging segments. This role will focus on Agentic Commerce opportunities and be responsible for pursuing and executing new commercial & strategic partnerships with AI companies global fintechs and emerging digital platforms. The role requires a balanced mix of solutioning sales partnership development and thought leadership. Successful candidates with have shown and can clearly demonstrate strong business and product acumen deep industry experience business development experience and will be able to formulate and pursue strategies to find meaningful growth for Visa in the AI space. 

This role requires indepth understanding of Visa and our partners capabilities needs and goals and driving towards successful outcomes which could come in the form of nontraditional deal execution new product or market launches solutioning and pilots growing existing business lines or other strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Business Development:

    • Structure and execute commercial agreements directly with AI companies digital platforms  fintechs and key technology partners across Visas ecosystem

    • Bring & further develop vertical expertise in key growth areas and develop segment strategies to grow Visas footprint across AI including generative AI agentic commerce etc.

  • Product Partnerships & Solutioning

    • Identify filter and bring forward opportunities for Visa to plug in emerging technology to augment existing products and services or to stand up new ones. This work will require close collaboration with product and technology leaders structuring of business cases and ability to navigate complex and bespoke deals

    • Support and manage discovery ideation and product solutioning with partners in a thoughtful and creative manner while collaborating with key internal stakeholders including product owners and sales specialists.

  • Thought Leadership

    • Provide market and client feedback to Visa product teams to guide roadmap and prioritization decisions and gotomarket and commercialization strategies

    • Develop an open front door narrative and approach finding ways to support and be helpful across a wider swath of the ecosystem

    • Identity & help to sponsor Visa Venture investments

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
10 years of work experience
Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business
development strategies in a complex and fastpaced environment
Strong understanding of Agentic Commerce digital payments and emerging
technologies

Preferred Qualifications
Selfstarter who is driven and can find ways to move things forward with ability
to connect dots on complex ecosystem across dozens of products and
hundreds of prospects and potential partners
Leads by example including enthusiasm and takes pride in their work with a
strong bias towards action
Significant related product sales and management experience in the payments
and/or financial services industry with particular preferred experience in AI
cross border money movement card networks account to account payments
etc
Demonstrated track record of planning managing and closing complex
competitive commercial deals from negotiation to closing and through
delivery
Experience managing up building Executive Level communications and
delivering presentations
Proven record of implementing strategic initiatives policies and operational
decisions
Strong storytelling capabilities and passion for improving financial services
Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment and to
influence senior management and other relevant parties
Soft skills including genuine and open communication active listening
compassionate and inspires others
