At Parks Hospitality Group we are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineerto join our maintenance team. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of hotel facilities and systems. Working under the guidance of the Chief Engineer you will play a key role in keeping the hotel in excellent working condition.
What Youll Do:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting plumbing repairs electrical work and HVAC system maintenance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions performing repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders inspections and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and reorder items as needed.
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
- Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance staff as needed.
What Youll Need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or constructionrelated field preferably in a hotel environment.
- Solid understanding of building maintenance principles and practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technical training or certification in a relevant trade is advantageous.
