Job Title: Coordinator Student Involvement

Review of applications will begin on May 2nd and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is June 6th or later.
The coordinator of student involvement supports and collaborates with the Student Involvement staff to ensure the needs of students and other constituents are addressed in a timely manner. This position coordinates general office management as well as provides support to students and student organizations interacting with the Office of Student Involvement.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Utilizes Workday to process all financial requisitions and purchases for student organizations the Office of Student Involvement and the department of Student Affairs
- Utilizes engagement platforms to manage organization requests (e.g. marketing equipment event approval etc.)
- Advises students on and verifies compliance with University policies and procedures and local state and federal regulations
- Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)
- Manages Student Involvement equipment utilized by students faculty and staff; oversees the equipment rental calendar as well as preparing orders for pickup and inventorying equipment
- Supervises undergraduate student workers including hiring training scheduling approving timesheets and addressing disciplinary concerns
Service Excellence
Communication Teamwork and Collaboration
- Maintains Student Involvement promotional materials and social media pages; ensures materials are in alignment with University brand guidelines
- Coordinates with student organizations to ensure they are following event rules and guidelines
- Updates the University website and calendar with events meetings and important dates
- Communicates with student worker applicants throughout the selection and hiring process
- Participates in campuswide planning committees such as Homecoming New Student Orientation etc.
- Assists all areas of Student Involvement with coordination and execution of events
- Manages shared email accounts for Student Involvement and Student Affairs

Required Qualifications An equivalent combination of education training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelors degree preferably in a businessrelated field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative tasks office management or other related experience preferred
