Job Description

Were looking for qualified guestfocused proactive servers who will be responsible for customer service and delivering food orders to guests stocking and preparing the dining area making sure every dining experience is nothing short of will be looking to you to make every event dining experience flawless to encourage repeat business. Prior restaurant and/or hospitality experience is a plus.

What Youll Do

  • Communicate effectively with guests and answer questions regarding menu items specials and beverages.
  • Maintain knowledge of current menu choices specialties and menu deviations and food shortages in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Positively interact with all guests and caters to their appropriate needs in order to ensure the success of restaurant events.
  • Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests.
  • Knowledge of menus and the preparation required according to Harrys standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary environment with knowledge of proper handling storage and sanitation.
  • Know the location and operation of all fire extinguishing equipment.
  • Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid possible injury to self or other employees.
  • Follow all Health Department and Company regulations in regard to food and storage standards and safety.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous restaurant server experience (preferred).
  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience (preferred).
  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced energetic environment.
  • Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for customer service and excellent customer services skills.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow your skills.
  • Ability to use the POS system to process bills and taking payment.
  • Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds.
