THE TEAM
The mission of the Data & Analytics Department is to maximize the value of Aritzias data by making it available insightful and actionable to foster a culture of datadriven decision making.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Data & Analytics Department team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for building and providing the processes platforms and tools to deliver world class Data & Analytics products. As the Senior Engineer Digital Platform you will design and implement scalable analytics systems across our digital properties lead the development of a robust serverside tracking framework and partner crossfunctionally to develop actionable measurement plans that align with our business objectives across new and existing digital experiences. THE ROLE
As the Senior Engineer Digital Platform you will:
- Design and implement scalable analytics systems across Aritzias digital properties with a focus on both web and mobile platforms (e.g. iOS React Native) establishing best practices for tracking infrastructure data collection and documentation
- Lead the development of a robust serverside tracking framework integrating with APIs and data pipelines to support realtime customer insights and scalable event handling
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to develop clear and actionable measurement plans ensuring tracking requirements align with business objectives across new and existing digital experiences
- Leverage firstparty data and serverside activation strategies to enhance customer intelligence drive advertising effectiveness and personalize user experiences across digital touchpoints
- Integrate customer consent and privacy preferences directly into both web and app experiences ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) while maintaining data integrity
- Support the use of advanced segmentation experimentation and journey orchestration to optimize the customer experience across web and mobile platforms
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Engineer Digital Platform has:
- Proven skills certifications education and/or experience:
- Experience with digital analytics implementation across web and/or mobile platforms including app telemetry event tracking frameworks and tag management systems
- Deep understanding of serverside tracking approaches including event orchestration through APIs cloud functions or event hubs
- Familiarity with customer data activation workflows including data collection enrichment and realtime audience delivery
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and React/React Native with experience implementing or supporting telemetry and instrumentation in digital environments
- Solid grasp of SQL and comfort working with structured data for analysis QA and validation
- Indepth understanding of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and how they apply in practice to digital data collection including mobile consent management and cookie governance
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including working within or alongside product teams to deliver iterative datainformed enhancements
- Prior experience in ecommerce digital marketing or omnichannel retail is preferred

- A proven ability to navigate internal operations and lead crossfunctional initiatives to deliver quality results

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $100000 $150000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
