Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific for a meaningful impact in finding cures and ensuring food safety.
What will you do
- Direct responsibility for data analytics inventory management and vital reporting.
- Analyze data and make recommendations to achieve profitability customer service and inventory goals.
- Manage the monthly inventory management report distribution.
- Coordinate all ULSIM ordering functions.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to implement changes from analysis.
- Plan and complete inventory functions such as running reports adding parts and warehouselevel inventory planning.
- Lead and coordinate annual physical inventory and quarterly cycle counts including conducting yearly API Training and Cycle Count Training.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Manage velocity reports analyze data and resolve MAX/ROP changes.
- Provide backup coverage as needed.
- Design new planning tools with the project coordinator.
- Perform ad hoc training and support.
- Undertake other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- College degree preferred.
Experience
- 12 years experience in inventory management.
- A combination of jobrelated experience and ongoing educational progress may be considered.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and lean standard processes preferred.
- Proficient communication skills including experience in writing SOPs and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work with internal and external customers; strong interpersonal skills required.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
- Diligent problem solver fosters team environment.
- Excellent computer/software skills. (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Selfmotivated with strong organizational skills.
- Proven problemsolving skills and collaboration.
- Analytical and critical thinking ability to make timely decisions in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience in a laboratory setting and GLP/GMP environment preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Working Conditions:
Works primarily at customer locations in office environments including cubicles and/or shipping/receiving docks stock rooms storage locations and laboratory environments.
Ability to handle 3040 pounds regularly; occasional 50 lbs. Use material handling equipment as needed.
