Job Description
Job Summary:Bridgeport Elementary is a small rural school yet close to the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We are seeking a teacher who can create a positive and engaging learning environment for young students and who will build foundational skills in reading writing math science and social studies while promoting creativity critical Bridgeport Elementary SchoolSmall school small class sizeFull time assistant in each class K5Fourday school and work weekPositive and innovative school cultureSupportive administrator and school boardCompetitive salary and benefitsKey Responsibilities: Planning & Delivery:Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the schools curriculum and state subjects including but not limited to reading writing math science and social a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage diverse learners including handson activities technology and group and monitor student progress through quizzes tests projects and other formative Management:Create a positive safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel respected and and maintain clear rules and expectations for positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and address Support:Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students including those with different learning oneonone support or small group instruction as students who may need additional support and collaborate with specialists or parents to address learning or behavioral :Work closely with fellow teachers administrators and staff to enhance the learning attendance at data team meetings PLCs and monthly meetingsCommunicate regularly with parents about student progress and in parentteacher conferences school meetings and professional development & Reporting:Track and document student progress data team assessment data to adjust teaching methods and curriculum as :Education: A bachelors degree in education and appropriate TSPC Oregon teaching :Strong communication and interpersonal to manage a classroom effectively. Knowledge of Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) strategies highly desirable.
