Assistant A&E CAD Program (Hourly)Job Description Summary:
The Architectural & Engineering CAD (A&E CAD) Department is seeking a PartTime Assistant (up to 19 hours per week) to support events recruitment efforts and office tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with campus tours creating flyers and newsletters and providing general office and computer lab support. The ideal candidate will be outgoing organized and detailoriented with graphic design experience (Canva and Adobe Illustrator preferred). Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and execution of department events and recruitment activities.
Conduct department tours for prospective students and visitors.
Design and create flyers newsletters and other promotional materials.
Support department efforts to maintain and improve the computer lab.
Provide general office support including data entry filing and other administrative tasks.
Collaborate with department staff to ensure events and recruitment efforts are wellorganized and communicated effectively.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Friendly outgoing personality with a professional demeanor.
Prior experience in event planning marketing or office support is a plus.
Requirements:
Must be able to work up to 19 hours per week.
Availability to assist with events and office tasks as needed.
